Terms and Conditions

All items which state 48 hour delivery, are sent out on a 48 hour service with a dedicated courier when ordered before 2pm. HammocksUK.com can not be held responsible for problems or delays that occur as a result of the courier service.

1. CARRIAGE TERMS AND MINIMUM ORDER VALUE

UK AND NORTHERN IRELAND:
Orders over £300 net will be delivered free of charge by our designated carrier/postal service - UK mainland only.
Orders under £300 for hammocks will incur a £10 + vat delivery charge.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND & CHANNEL ISLANDS:
Carriage charges on these orders will be advised after order has been placed.

2. RETENTION OF TITLE AND RISK

The ownership of goods supplied, the subject of an order, shall not pass to the customer until payment has been received in full by Hammocks UK although the risk passes to the purchaser at time of delivery.

3. DAMAGED AND LOST GOODS

Any damaged or faulty goods must be notified to us, in writing, within 4 working days of receipt otherwise no liability will be accepted. Please email us detailing, in full, the damage or fault relating to your order. Along with the email we ask you to provide photographic evidence to support your complaint. This must be done within 4 working days of receiving your order. Non delivery of goods must be reported, in writing, within 4 working days of receipt of invoice.

4. RETURNS

Goods shall not be returned without prior written authorisation from FOUR X NINETY LTD. We ask you to email us within 4 working days of receiving your order. From there we will instruct you as to the next step. All agreed returns must be sent to our warehouse or the warehouse instructed. To qualify for credit, all returned goods must be adequately packed and protected, still in their original shrink wrap if , and in a re-saleable condition. We reserve the right to levy a 20% restocking charge. Transport charges will not be refunded.

5. OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

In the unlikely event that the hammock requested is out of stock, Hammocks UK reserves the right to supply a similar hammock to that selected in both colour and style.

6. PART SHIPMENT

Every effort is made to send a complete order, however we reserve the right to make part shipments due to external factors beyond our control.

7. TIME IS NOT OF THE ESSENCE

There will be no liability for consequential damages/losses.

8. WEBSITE ORDERS

Hammocks UK does not accept liability for errors and omissions within its websites and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services.

9. Please note that the goods may be sent to you in installments depending on availabilty. As such, a single order may be delivered in several different consignments

We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.

12. Hammocks UK does not guarantee any product's fitness for a particular purpose. All items are listed on an 'as is' basis.
